A cave explorer 500 feet underground in Missouri last Saturday came across something surprising…a dog. Abby, a 14-year old poodle mix, had gone missing in early June. Her family had given up hope. But Gerry Keene and fellow “caver” Rick Haley managed to get the pup out. Once above ground, Abby’s grateful family fed her broth…and ice cream for the men who saved her life. They say Abby’s on the mend, and they couldn’t be happier.
