Jane Goodall, the famed primatologist and anthropologist, can now add becoming a Barbie doll to her list of accomplishments. Mattel announced the Jane Goodall Barbie this week as part of its “Inspiring Women Series.” The doll is made from recycled plastics. Goodall, now 88 years old, says she’s always wanted to be immortalized in doll form, as a way to inspire young girls.
